During one semester, students actively learn about the factors of production required in business activities, business competition, business ethics, and social responsibility. Students are also asked to analyze and solve simple case studies related to these concepts. Students are expected to gain experience in making ethical and responsible managerial decisions that are socially and environmentally responsible.
2 EPT6310 Introductory Microeconomics This course aims to provide an understanding and explanation of how prices and quantities of goods are formed in markets, particularly output markets. The course material begins with basic concepts of economic theory, including the concepts of supply and demand, equilibrium prices, consumer behavior, production theory, cost theory, and firm equilibrium in both perfectly competitive and imperfectly competitive markets.
3 EUE6300 Mathematical Economics This course aims to provide an in-depth understanding of solving economic and business problems using diagrams and graphs as analytical tools, along with equations. This course, as an economic analysis tool, discusses market equilibrium under various fiscal policies, such as taxes and subsidies, and how to obtain optimal conditions using various methods, including functions, matrices, derivatives, and integrals. By the end of the semester, students are expected to be able to apply, analyze, and evaluate economic problems using the materials presented.
4 EAU6300 Introduction to Accounting + Assistance The course material begins with a basic understanding of financial accounting; the accounting equation; accounting data processing techniques covering the stages in the accounting cycle starting from journals, ledgers and so on; the use of worksheets; preparation of financial reports for service and trading companies. The next material is studying cash, inventory, and receivables accounting. After completing this course, students are expected to have knowledge and understanding of financial accounting records, be able to prepare financial reports for service and trading companies and understand accounting for inventory, cash, and receivables.
5 EUE6214 Descriptive Statistics + Assistance This course discusses the concepts and basic understanding of descriptive statistics as a whole such as the meaning of statistics in a narrow and broad sense, the usefulness of statistics, the meaning of data and the usefulness of data, elements, variables, observations, Classification of data collection, measurement scales. Frequency distribution, histogram & polygon curves, Ogive curves. Measurement of central values. Measures of variation/dispersion. Skewness and sharpness. Index numbers. Probability about the basic concepts of probability (Rules of addition and multiplication). marginal, Bayers and mathematical expectations. 6 UPA6200 Pancasila Contains knowledge about Pancasila Education, which discusses the background of Pancasila education; national policies for developing national character; the legal basis for Pancasila education; the conceptual framework for Pancasila education; the vision and mission; the objectives of Pancasila Education; Pancasila in the study of Indonesian history; the position of Pancasila as the foundation of the state; the position of Pancasila as a state ideology; the definition of philosophy; the philosophy of Pancasila; the essence of the Pancasila principles; Pancasila is studied as an ethical system, including: the definition of ethics, Pancasila ethics; Pancasila as a solution to national problems, such as corruption, environmental damage, moral decadence, and others. Pancasila serves as the foundation for the development of knowledge, encompassing the values ​​of divinity, humanity, unity, democracy, and justice, with the goal of enabling students to transform their attitudes, behaviors, and mindsets as Indonesian citizens in accordance with Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.
7 UBN6200 Indonesian This course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to write papers in accordance with generally accepted and applied scientific principles in higher education. The material presented is in the form of knowledge and skills as well as practical rules in scientific writing. Introductory Lectures; development of the Indonesian language; Indonesian with various variations; Diction or word choice; Sentence structure; Paragraphs or paragraphs; Deductive and inductive reasoning and incorrect reasoning; Spelling; Ethics and Techniques of Writing Scientific Essays, Communication Ethics.
8 UAG6201 Islam The Islamic Religion course is one of the general basic courses that must be taken by every student, especially those who are Muslim. This course includes: 1) Aqidah, namely things that must be believed or believed in carrying out / practicing Islamic teachings. 2) Sharia, namely the rules that must be implemented by a Muslim both in vertical relations with Allah (Hablum Minallah), horizontal relations between humans (Hablum Minannas), and human relations with nature or the environment. 3) Akhlak, namely morals, good morals related to Allah and His Messenger as well as those related to humans and nature.

1 EUE6318 Digital Business This course discusses the concepts of Digital Business and its application at the strategic level. During one semester, students actively learn about the concept of value and the role of Digital Business in strategic planning, new business development management and strategies for implementing it at each stage, determining the business to be built, strategies for designing and managing promotions, strategies for facing competitors, Digital Business strategies in entering the global market and ethical and socially responsible digital business strategies. Students will also be trained to analyze and solve problems from simple cases related to the concepts above. Students are expected to have learning experiences in making ethical and responsible managerial decisions and caring for the social environment, especially in the scope of Digital Business.
2 EMU6302 Introduction to Management The Introduction to Management course is a comprehensive course because it covers various functional aspects of an organization in an integrated manner. In other words, the discussion is not focused solely on one function but rather on a cross-functional basis. Throughout the semester, students will engage in active learning using collaborative learning approaches and small group discussions on various concepts, theories, and application examples in development, implementation, and evaluation.
3 EMH6203 Legal Aspects in Business The Legal Aspects in Business course covers theoretical material and analysis of legal events in society. The material studied is discussed from a conceptual and legislative perspective to achieve effectiveness and efficiency. Legal Aspects in Business provides an understanding of the various legal regulations that apply positively in social life, general and specific legal principles, and conducts legal analysis of legal issues related to business activities.
4 EPT6311 Introductory Macroeconomics This course discusses the basic concepts and understanding of the economy as a whole, such as inflation, unemployment, and economic growth, using an aggregate supply and demand approach. Throughout the semester, students will actively engage in learning about various concepts and theories related to measuring the level of economic activity, components of aggregate expenditure, determining the level of national income, the financial and banking sector, the labor market, fluctuations in economic activity, and output growth. Students will also be introduced to various examples of the application of fiscal-monetary policy, international policy as a government instrument in a country’s economic activities. Thus, students will have a comprehensive understanding of macroeconomics, enabling them to analyze and relate it to relevant issues that are emerging and developing today.
5 EUE6307 Business Statistics This course serves as a tool for solving problems in both the exact and social sciences. Specifically, the objectives of this course are:
1. To provide understanding and skills in predicting data sets or time series data and interpreting that data in decision-making.
2. To provide understanding and skills in observing the relationships and influences between dependent and independent variables and drawing conclusions.
3. To provide understanding and skills in conducting hypothesis tests for averages and proportions and making decisions.
4. To provide understanding and skills in reading SPSS printouts and drawing conclusions.
5. To provide understanding and skills in making decisions using non-parametric methods and making decisions.
6 EUE6308 Operations Research This course aims to provide analytical tools used to study optimization problems and the scope of quantitative approaches in solving increasingly complex problems.

To provide students with a deeper understanding, this course will utilize three approaches:

(1) a fundamental mathematical and statistical approach;

(2) an intuitive explanation of each operations research concept discussed;

and (3) implementation using user-friendly software.

After completing this course, students will be able to: (1) Understanding under what conditions the operations research approach can be used, (2) Understanding the reasons for using linear programming, graphical, simplex, transportation, queuing, assignment, decision-making, and network planning methods, including their advantages and disadvantages, (3) The assumptions that must be met, (4) Solutions if these assumptions are not met.
(5) Using computers to perform complex calculations in operations research techniques very easily and quickly. (6) Using several selected methods and the best models. Thus, students will be able to use them properly and correctly, both in the workplace.
After completing this course, students are expected to be able to use mathematical models in the decision-making process to solve general and specific management and business problems.

7 UBA6300 English This English course is a basic course that introduces students to basic conversational concepts. Understanding begins with how to introduce oneself and others. Then continues with how to express “likes” and “dislikes.” Next, students are also introduced to how to “make a request,” “ask permission,” “offer something.” After that, students will also practice making suggestions. For further exploration, students will implement dialogue on the interactive topic “going somewhere on the weekend.” Next, students practice using the expression “degree of certainty.” After that, students will also be trained to understand the texts “transportation,” “franchise,” “money talk,” “let’s talk about marketing,” “good investment” by paying attention to the rules of vocabulary, grammar, and important elements in reading comprehension. Finally, students are trained in interview skills in English and are able to express opinions and negotiate in English.

After completing this course, students are expected to have an understanding and knowledge of the basic concepts of Organizational Behavior by developing an Organizational Behavior model and being able to apply it in everyday life.
2 EMI6301 International Business This course serves as a tool for solving problems in both the exact and social sciences. Specifically, the objectives of this course are:

4 EMM6301 Marketing Management I

 

Marketing management is an approach or process of planning, implementing, controlling, and managing strategies for all activities related to marketing a company’s products and services. All marketing management activities focus on understanding customer needs and desires and creating value for customers to achieve company profitability. Marketing management is very important in managing customer relationships, maintaining and increasing market share, and achieving sustainable business growth. During one semester, students actively learn to develop their knowledge and skills in (1) understanding marketing management, (2) improving their understanding of marketing opportunities, (3) managing customer relationships, and (4) creating, delivering, and communicating value to customers. Students will also be trained to analyze and solve problems from simple cases related to the above concepts. Students are expected to have learning experiences in making managerial decisions and developing a responsible attitude and concern for environmental and social aspects.
5 EMS6301 Human Resource Management and Organization I The Human Resource Management 1 course provides students with insight into the importance of human resource management in organizations, both small and large, for-profit and non-profit organizations, domestic and global organizations, and across all industries. Knowledge related to human resource management is multidisciplinary. Throughout the semester, students will engage in active learning using collaborative learning approaches and small group discussions on various concepts, theories, and examples of applications in organizations, as well as the implementation and evaluation of organizational strategies related to human resource management. Throughout the semester, students actively learn the fundamentals of business communication, the writing process, digital, social, and visual media, text messaging, reports and proposals, business presentations, cover letters, job interview preparation, and negotiation skills. Students will also be trained to analyze and solve simple problems related to the aforementioned concepts. Students are expected to develop strong communication skills.
7 EMD6318 Operations and Supply Chain Management I + Assistance The Operations and Supply Chain Management I course is an interesting course because it covers both qualitative (theory) and quantitative material.
The material studied is discussed conceptually and then supplemented with quantitative methods to achieve effectiveness and efficiency. Operations Management has 10 strategic decisions, all of which are discussed in Operations and Supply Chain Management I. These decisions concern Product Strategy, Quality Management, Process & Capacity Strategy, Location Strategy, Layout Strategy, Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Scheduling Strategy, and Maintenance Strategy. Understanding these materials leads students to understand Operations and Supply Chain Management, which can be applied to the business world with various conditions and scales. Throughout the semester, students will learn about various concepts, theories, and application examples in the development and implementation of Operations Management within an organization. The quantitative material trains students to determine efficient strategies. Meanwhile, qualitative material motivates students to determine effective strategies. 1 EMU6308 International Management This course discusses the basic concepts of International Management and related International Organization theories that are useful for organizational effectiveness. These theories are divided into three types of variables (input, process, and output) and three levels of analysis (international environment, international management functions, and international organizations). After completing this course, students are expected to have an understanding and knowledge of the basic concepts of International Management by developing an International Management model and being able to apply it in everyday life.
2 EMK6307 Business Ethics The Business Ethics course is based on the understanding that business development and activities in Indonesia and globally must be guided by moral norms. Therefore, understanding and appreciating business ethics is a pressing need for all parties involved in business activities. This course introduces the concept and importance of moral norms in business activities, ethical principles relevant to moral issues in business activities, and explains rational analytical skills in applying ethical concepts to resolve moral problems in business activities, as well as identifying moral issues related to various business management functions. Students are expected to gain experience in making managerial decisions in managing business activities that are ethical and responsible, while also caring for the social environment.
3 EMB6302 Financial Management II + Assistance The Financial Management II course is a comprehensive continuation of Financial Management I. It applies tools to manage and analyze/conduct financial assessments of a company’s projects. After completing this course, students are expected to have the ability to analyze/assess, interpret, recommend, and make appropriate and correct financial decisions. It begins with a review of the scope of financial management, followed by the first section explaining how to determine the fair value of securities in the form of bonds and shares. The second section explains how to determine the cost of each and all sources of the company’s long-term capital. The third section assesses long-term investments using the capital budgeting process, including the techniques used, calculations of relevant cash flows, and risk and refinements in making long-term investment decisions. The fourth section explains how to make decisions about financing/funding company activities by determining the optimal capital structure. The fifth section explains funding decision-making, using hybrid or derivative securities.
4 EMD6319 Operations and Supply Chain Management II + Assistance The Operations and Supply Chain Management II course is a further extension of the Operations and Supply Chain Management I course. Operations and Supply Chain Management I discusses 10 strategic decisions in Operations Management: Product Strategy, Quality Management, Process & Capacity Strategy, Location Strategy, Layout Strategy, Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Scheduling Strategy, and Maintenance Strategy.
Operations and Supply Chain Management II explores several of these strategic decisions in depth as they relate to the current trend in Supply Chain management, enabling organizations to operate effectively and efficiently. Throughout the semester, students will learn various concepts, theories, and application examples in the development and implementation of Supply Chain Operations Management within an organization. Assignments to write papers on the real-world applications of several Supply Chain Operations Management materials are expected to motivate students to gain a deeper understanding and explore the creation of goods and services through the transformation of inputs into outputs in Supply Chain applications.
At the end of the semester, students must write a paper on selected material covered in the course.
5 EMM6302 Marketing Management II This course explores marketing management concepts and their application at the strategic level. Over the course of one semester, students actively learn about the concept of value and the role of marketing in strategic planning, new product development management and marketing strategies at each stage of the product’s life cycle, pricing strategies, strategies for designing and managing distribution channels and promotional tools, marketing strategies for dealing with competitors, marketing strategies for entering global markets, and ethical and socially responsible marketing strategies. Students will also be trained to analyze and solve simple case studies related to these concepts. Students are expected to gain experience in making ethical and responsible managerial decisions that are socially and environmentally responsible.
6 EMS6302 Human Resource Management and Organization II The Human Resource Management II course is a comprehensive continuation of Human Resource Management I because its discussion will cover various aspects of HR functions and their application at the strategic level. During one semester, students carry out active learning about training and development, career planning and development, financial compensation provided directly and indirectly, non-financial compensation, occupational safety and health, labor unions and collective bargaining, internal employee relations to Global HR planning. Students will also be trained to analyze and solve problems from simple cases related to the concepts above. Students are expected to have learning experience in making ethical and responsible managerial decisions and caring for the social environment.
7 EMI6304 Sustainable Business This course discusses the concepts of Sustainable Business, the relationship between CSR and the achievement of Sustainable Business and contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. During one semester, students carry out active learning about the concepts of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the concept of CSR, Circular Economy, Environmental and Social Sustainability, Stakeholder Engagement, CSV (Creating Shared Value) in facing modern business competition. Students will also be trained to analyze and solve problems from simple cases related to the concepts above. This course also provides students with experience in formulating business opportunities and discussing their commercialization aspects. This will strengthen awareness of the importance of innovation as a value-added provider and enhance the competitiveness of businesses and the nation.
2 EMP6304 Management Information System This course explores the concepts of management information systems and their application at a strategic level. During one semester, students actively learn about the Foundations of IS in Business, Competing in IT, E-Business Function Systems, Decision Support Systems (DSS), Artificial Intelligence, Telecommunications and Networks, Data Resources Management, Business Solution Development, Security and Ethical Challenges, and Enterprise and Global Management. Students will also be trained to analyze and solve simple problems related to these concepts. Students are expected to gain experience in making ethical and responsible managerial decisions, while also caring for the social environment.
3 EMU6303 Risk Management The Risk Management course is a field of study that discusses risk management in running a business that is full of uncertainty. The goal of understanding risk management is for students to gather information related to potential risks and be able to analyze and provide alternative solutions to all possible events that may occur in their business. The course material covers understanding the concept of risk, risk management, and risk management architecture, which includes risk management principles, risk management frameworks, and risk management processes. This is followed by an understanding of risks in the financial institution industry. Finally, students are asked to apply the risk management process to their company and then present it to the class as a final project.
4 EPT6316 Managerial Economics *) In this Managerial Economics course, students learn the procedures and methods for applying Economic Theory to real-world economic and business problems—integrated and analyzed using mathematics and statistics/econometrics as analytical tools. This approach aims to find solutions to various business and economic problems that arise in corporate organizations (firms, limited liability companies, cooperatives, etc.) or government organizations (state-owned enterprises, village-owned enterprises, etc.), as well as regional and national economic problems.

6 EMB6307 Business Feasibility Study The Business Feasibility Study course is based on the understanding that investing in a new business or venture requires a serious study of its feasibility and future prospects. Without thorough planning and feasibility studies, a business or investment is likely to incur losses. Yet, one of the goals of a company is to generate profits. Therefore, understanding the material in the business feasibility study is expected to be useful for students, especially those who wish to open a new business or expand an existing one. Understanding various theories and concepts in the business feasibility study is studied holistically and in an integrated manner, relating to financial aspects, market and marketing aspects, management aspects, legal aspects, economic and social aspects, and environmental impact analysis, which are studied practically. To further deepen the learning process, various empirical studies will be reviewed and assignments will be given to prepare business feasibility study reports. In addition, through the business feasibility study learning process, students can gain analytical thinking skills through assigned assignments and group discussions to understand various aspects of the business feasibility study in a holistic and integrated manner. The learning method is conducted interactively in two directions, with each student/group completing assigned assignments for a specific topic, followed by discussion. 12 EMM6316 Business Competition Management This course aims to provide analytical tools for the values ​​of fair business competition and the scope of economic/competition policy used to examine solutions to the increasingly complex problems of potential unfair business competition.
To provide students with a deeper understanding, this course will utilize three approaches:
(1) A basic principle approach to how business competition is viewed from an economic and management perspective,
(2) An intuitive explanation of each concept of business competition and market structure discussed, and
(3) Application using a simple case study.After completing this course, students will be able to:
(1) Understand under what conditions the fair business competition values ​​approach can be used,
(2) Understand the rationale for using microeconomic principles, managerial economics, strategic management, and industrial organization, including their advantages and disadvantages,

2 EMB6303 Advanced Financial Management This course discusses financial management concepts and their application at the strategic level. During one semester, students actively learn about the meaning and scope of corporate finance, the concept of the time value of money, valuation, bond valuation, stock valuation, capital budgeting and investment rules, risk and return: CAPM, Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT), agency theory, capital structure, valuation and capital budgeting for leveraged firms, and special topics (mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial distress). Students will also be trained to analyze and solve simple cases related to the aforementioned concepts. Students are expected to gain experience in making managerial decisions based on analyzing financial data and information, communicating and developing themselves, adapting to dynamic environmental changes, and working in teams to manage a business ethically.
3 EMB6313 Portfolio Theory and Investment Management This course covers portfolio theory and investment management, divided into several sections.
The first section provides a framework for students to understand various securities, how to allocate funds across alternative assets, capital markets, market indices, and manage a portfolio of investments. The second section covers the background on risk assessment and the estimation of expected returns from selected investments based on investment theory related to efficient capital markets, portfolio theory, asset pricing, and multifactor valuation. The third section introduces the stock valuation process, a top-down approach from a very practical perspective, institutional details on equity investments that will be useful for students entering the asset management field, and equity portfolio management strategies. The fourth section provides a basic understanding of bonds and the bond market, background on yield and risk analysis in the bond market, insights into bond valuation, including the many new fixed-income securities with different cash flow characteristics, and an understanding of active and passive bond portfolio management. The fifth section provides a framework for investors to understand how derivatives are valued and used in practice. The final section is designed to meet the needs of individual and institutional investors for professional money management services and how students should evaluate investment performance.
4 EMB6311 Banking Management This course focuses on decision-making and offers a unique approach to understanding commercial bank management. Key chapters address specific aspects of issues or problems faced by conventional banks. During one semester, students actively learn about banking and the global financial crisis that impacted banking growth, government policies and regulations as monetary controllers in a country, analyze bank performance using financial ratios derived from the balance sheet and income statement, manage non-interest income and non-interest expenses, manage interest rate risk: earnings gaps and sensitivity, manage interest rate risk: economic value of equity, sources of bank funding, liquidity management, effective use of bank capital, manage bank investment portfolios, credit policies and credit characteristics, evaluate commercial loans and manage credit risk, evaluate consumer loans, and global banking activities. Students not only observe how certain factors influence credit, investment, financing, and pricing decisions, but also develop an appreciation of the trade-off between return and risk.

6 EMB6304 Financial Management Seminar The financial management seminar is a course that provides learning for the purpose of deepening the theory and concepts of financial management that can be practiced in the management field. Understanding of various financial theories and concepts is studied holistically and integratedly, relating to finance as a science and learned in practice. To further deepen the learning process, various empirical studies and company analysis assignments will be reviewed to analyze how business phenomena relate to financial management. In addition, through the learning process of the financial management seminar, students can acquire analytical thinking skills through seminars, presentations, and group discussions to understand various policies and norms in financial management in a holistic and integrated manner. The learning method is carried out interactively two-way, with each student presenting assignments assigned to a specific study material.
